Do I Qualify?

Have you been looking into different branches of the military and are not sure which one to choose? Are you wondering if you qualify to join these branches? 

Below you will see a list of important questions that a recruiter will ask you to determine your qualification for the AIR NATIONAL GUARD. Every branch is different. What we all have in common is that we all need to ensure that you are qualified to move on to the next step that way no one wastes valuable time.

 To check to see if you pre-qualify you can copy and paste the questions below into an email and answer them. Send your responses to airnationalguard@verizon.net and a recruiter will reply and let you know if you tentatively qualify based on your answers. If you do not qualify but are able to pursue a waiver we will let you know that as well.

2. Current Height and Weight

4 . Have you ever been Charged, Arrested, Cited Held or Questioned by any law enforcement agency to include minor traffic or juvenile violations regardless of the disposition? If YES: What is the Nature of the offense, When & Where? Age at the time? Final Disposition? Completed the requirements? If fine, how much and is it paid? If dismissed, any conditions? If probation, how long? What court? Next offense?

5. Have you ever Used, Possessed, Sold or Transported any illegal drugs to include marijuana? I will tell you up front that limited use of marijuana may not be disqualifying so please answer truthfully. If YES: What was the drug? What did you do with it? How many times? Last time used? What is the next drug?

6. Have you ever or are you currently taking and prescribed medication?

7. Have you ever been or are you currently being seen by a doctor for anything other than normal childhood illnesses? If YES: What is it? What age was that at? How long did you have it?

8. Are you now, or have you ever been seen by a therapist, counselor or psychologist? If YES: which one? For how long? What was the outcome?

9. Do you have any tattoos? If YES: Where are they and what are they of?

10. Do you have any body piercing and or body augmentations? if YES: Where are they. All must be removed while at MEPS, BMT, Technical school and while in uniform.

11. Do you have, or ever had any medical problems not discussed above, like broken bones, artificial parts, surgeries, or any eye treatments done? If YES: Describe

12. Are you a conscientious objector? A conscientious objector is an individual with a firm fixed and sincere objection to the participation of war in any form or to the performance of military service due to religious training or beliefs.
